last day of summer, pretty much.

listening to some stuff about blink 182, as usual, i come to realize that yet another summer is gone. with today being my last day at work, for a while at least, i also realize how fast life seems to go by sometimes. i find it very interesting for how when you’re having fun, time seems to go by within a blink of an eye and when you wish time would go by, it seems like times goes backwards.

in general, this was a much better summer than last year. not just for one thing, but for quite a number of reasons. it could have been better and it could have been worse, considering that i was completely stressed out at the end of the semester last year. hopefully it won’t happen again. the way that i look at it is that as long as my GPA gets pulled up, everything else should fall into place. also, i know for a fact that i’m a good computer person (geek), even though i really want to do something with music, like production or even musician. i just need teachers that actually teach, not just fall asleep during their own class and don’t even have notes of their own. and that’s where a bit of my rant starts:

how can you have a PhD and yet suck at teaching? i mean, if you use other’s notes and even you fall asleep during your own class, you’re probably not a good teacher. i’m sure he/she’s a nice guy. great! kudos! but that doesn’t count for much when you’re trying to prepare the future workers. but what else can you expect with this screwed up economy. i mean the main way people get their jobs is by have connections from the inside. is that really equal opportunity? ummm… not really. great job America! i’m not saying that i hate the country and i’m in no way saying that i love it. all i’m saying is that there are way too many stupid people in the world and most of them are in America and most ironically, most of them are in some sort of “high authority”, in other words, running something. and they’re not even stupid, as in with no common sense, but they’re also arrogent. great job!

i realized a while a go that my school isn’t really good with education. okay, it’s educationally cheap and yet they charge 300 dollars for a used text book. yeah-ebay.

anyways, not to seem like this post is a rant, let’s go back to the summer topic. in general, i have no complaints, i just wish it could have been a bit longer. i won’t say exactly what happened because

a-i’m sure you’re quite aware that i can’t really open up to the world that much.
b-it’s summer, a lot happened.
c-i just don’t think you NEED to know certain things.

what’s next? well, mostly just focusing on my GPA and just trying to live life.

what did i learn this summer? life is like an album, no matter how crappy the song is, the metronome keeps ticking and there’s always another song.

until next time. laters!
