Scarlet Letter/Yoga

Watching one of my favorite shows (The IT Crows), i’ve realized i haven’t posted in quite some time. when i was doing my philosophy post this morning i saw an ad for clip notes for The Scarlet Letter. now i’ve read the book in high school so i can honestly say that it’s incredibly boring. i mean the whole book is talking about a forest where nobody’s allowed to go, but this couple (the male being married) and starts having an affair. now i don’t want to talk about the moral issues of sex as the individuals, but i do agree that an affair is messed up. but in the story they have to hide there “love”, but at the end they find out and she’s marked as a scarlet or whore. to me this whole book is about some stupid conservative view of sex that people brainwash younger people with. personally i wouldn’t want anyone reading this book because it’s just that stupid in my opinion, but that’s just my opinion. to each his/her own i always say.

next i want to talk about my new obsession. i’ve gotten deeply into yoga. i love it. it’s so relaxing and it’s a great way to burn calories. if anyone wanted a way to relax, burn calories, and start living a more healthier life, i would strongly suggest picking up the tapes of Rodney Yee. he basically tells you how to go into each position and how you should breathe. well, that’s all what’s been on my mind.
