Finals week 2009

Posted by Abel Gancsos on Dec 11, 2009 in Blog

coming out of a digital logic final (which i most likely bombed), i felt the urge to give an update of my summer goal. so far most of my finals went smoothly. history went great, philosophy went marvelous, data structures was okay, but the only two which i have a bad feeling about are calculus and digital logic. the funny thing is that i actually did try hard in all the classes, especially calc. maybe digital logic just isn’t my subject, but for some reason i still have to pass it. these are the moments when i feel like smashing a computer, but i won’t do it with my mac and i’m not going to pay for breaking a school computer. ahhhhh!!!!!!!

anyways, as i posted earlier that i was pulled over for speeding and i have to go to court. my dad spoke to our (cop) neighbor who spoke to the officer that gave me the tickets. i was to change the court date since he wouldn’t have been there and a “95 in a 65″ court case, they wouldn’t dismiss it. this in a way could be good news, i just wish that there could be some way i wouldn’t get any points on my license, especially since i’m suppose to be renewing my license in february and i don’t want to start off with a bad record. have i learned my lesson? i think so because i haven’t gone past 80 since then and i’m only moving with traffic. god i hate going to court and having points.

but wait!!! christmas is coming up!!!! < sarcastic> great!!! < / sarcastic> i’m just waiting for some other bad crap to happen and it didn’t even start snowing (really) yet. it’s freezing and being a vegetarian isn’t helping the whole situation

on a lighter note, house is turning into a great show again, even after house becoming “nice” and the new scrubs season is also a pretty good one. it’s interesting how zach braff came back, but without him, the show wouldn’t have continued.

it’s interesting how i know more about the human body than computers and yet i still picked computer science as my major. maybe i should become a doctor, but then again, i’m sure no one would trust me as their physician. i can’t blame them cause i would want a good doctor too.

it’s also great having an actually phone service, despite the higher tension between the parents, but i believe i made the right choice. we shall see with that one.

anyways, don’t let me ruin your evening. make some hot chocolate and cuddle up around the fireplace with your loved ones.

laters!
